May The Storms be Calm...

May the storms be calm, the showers, gentle and kind.  For my beloveds are asleep, resting underneath the ground.  May the drizzle descend no harm, the soil with warmth be twined. To my adored laid inside deep, be God's grace see no bound. May the rasping of the thunders charm, the mercy be poured, skies be shined. For my endearing souls worth the rest, Keep their realm of peace undrowned.  ~Hud For my Grandparents ❤️ It rained hard that day and my heart stired up with pain as my brain recalled the final resting place of my grandparents.

THE TREASURE I OWN

The Treasure I own I have not travelled the world But I have been around you, Neither have I eyed a gnarled Knotted of duties, bring off in a blew. Engraved in me the lessons you taught hurting you was in guilt I caught, the warmth of your benign heart,  In it's shade, I reside, which you impart.  Every minor inconvenience I have ever felt the spikes of dart your heart forever dealt, never can I recompense your endearing souls, I owe centuries of love for the diamonds who were never coals. ~hud I dedicate this to my parents ❣️

A GOOD THAT HAPPENED TO ME!

Image
A GOOD THAT HAPPENED TO ME!             On one fine day while reading about the American novelist Thronton Niven Wilder, I came across a beautiful quote given by him which goes, “ WE CAN ONLY BE SAID TO BE ALIVE IN THOSE MOMENTS WHEN OUR HEARTS ARE CONSCIOUS OF OUR TREASURES.” Wow, what a beautiful quote! It whispered to me a million things which my heart always knew but never acknowledged before. “Treasure”, how could I encounter the word treasure and not think of my parents, they are my metaphors of treasure. They have unconsciously influenced my personality as a whole. My father who works abroad, might have never thought how he was building me as a person. He works selflessly to provide us with an extraordinary life, which I am grateful for. My mother who has to take up roles of mom and dad at times had spurned the role differences which are witnessed in our society. The man of the house, works the entire ...

If I could ever wind the clocks back for once!

I would take me to the time  When a single sight of them  Was not less than the world to me, With the ones who disappeared as our smiles then... I would hold their hands tight a little longer, If I could ever wind the clocks back for once! The peck on her forehead, I gave  told her to stay brave as I have seen   It's few years now have been  She left us since... I would lie by her side a little longer, If I could ever wind the clocks back for once! In his eyes ,  I was a warrior of the folks. Feels like he never left,  I would greet him as I enter and make my eyes search for him on his chair,  hear him a little longer,  If I could ever wind the clocks back for once! The voices of my past have left me  Their memories are the sweetest of the songs to me, I would show my love a fist more as they did every thing for us a fist more,  If i could ever wind the clocks back for once! The inspiration for this poem are my Grand Parents. N...

Glory of the night

Image
GLORY OF THE NIGHT   When below the horizon  Sun hides  the sky witnesses the fall of the night  To the melody of the clam night breeze  In solitude my soul breathes in peace  When with the stars eyes meet  beholding misery of my heart  a wish ungranted unfolds  an escape to stars becoming it's part  Like a blow of spells of shine  mesmerized with it's beauty I sit there awe struck enchanted gazing moon and it's misty  My sparkling eyes holding  the moonlight are pleased  forgetting the fret  my soul rests at ease ~hud

Beautiful Creatures

Image
Beautiful Creatures It was my teacher, I am full of values today. Fair and patient enough, to solve our issues everyday. She led my mind through twists and turns, Her student's future was her only concern. There was nothing but a dark ocean of illusions, She was the one who brought me to light.  You made me capable to find my own vision, to brighten our lives was your only mission. It was my teacher, I have grown so humble, She taught me to be generous and affable. Agreed, I was not a student of a brilliant kind, There lies within me a sea of spark, only you could find. I will always remember those doubted days, Those elocution competitions, I terribly fumble. But you rejuvenate my strength like always, When you said utterance of mine is awesome. Teachers are one of a kind,  Teachers are beautiful creatures divine. šŸ¤This poem was written long time back, it may sound a bit childish but it's an experienc...
