               Beautiful Creatures

It was my teacher, I am full of values today.

Fair and patient enough, to solve our issues everyday.

She led my mind through twists and turns,

Her student's future was her only concern.

There was nothing but a dark ocean of illusions,

She was the one who brought me to light. 

You made me capable to find my own vision,

to brighten our lives was your only mission.

It was my teacher, I have grown so humble,

She taught me to be generous and affable.

Agreed, I was not a student of a brilliant kind,

There lies within me a sea of spark, only you could find.

I will always remember those doubted days,

Those elocution competitions, I terribly fumble.

But you rejuvenate my strength like always,

When you said utterance of mine is awesome.

Teachers are one of a kind, 

Teachers are beautiful creatures divine.

A Japanese proverb goes, "Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher".
